Newquay RNLI volunteer crew, fundraisers
and supporters will be stepping out on Saturday 18th July 2009 for the
annual Summer ball.
The Hotel Victoria are throwing their doors
open for the tenth year and welcoming Newquay RNLI lifeboat supporters. Step
out in your glad rags on Saturday 18th July, 19:30 hrs for 20:00 hrs.
Gentlemen are invited to wear black tie or lounge suits. You will be able to
wine, dine and then dance the night away with Mark II Trio. Tickets cost £25
pp.

Layne, events manager at the Hotel Victoria is pleased the hotel is able to
support Newquay RNLI lifeboat station, Zoe says:
“This is the tenth year we have hosted the
Summer Ball. We are delighted that our close ties with the lifeboat station
are continuing and we are able to support the town’s lifeboats. The RNLI
charity provides an excellent lifesaving service with our local lifeboat
station and lifeguards making Newquay’s seas safe for locals and holiday
makers alike.”
Newquay’s dedicated volunteer crew provide a
24/7-365 service. Sunday lunch time, Monday morning at 6 o’clock, Saturday
evening, Wednesday 3:00 am, you name the time, Newquay’s team of 30+
volunteers are ready step up to the mark and respond - anyone’s emergency,
your emergency, a loved one’s emergency, who knows – we will be there. This
is your opportunity to have a good evening out, fine food, fine wine, good
company and at the same time help to save someone’s life.
So, £25, a good meal raising money for a good
cause and a chance to put your posh frock on – good deed for the day - go
for it.
