Newquay RNLI lifeboat station thanks community for their support

All at Newquay RNLI lifeboat station would like to thank the people of Newquay, surrounding areas and visitors for their fundraising support throughout this year.

Events have included coffee mornings, open gardens, RNLI lottery sales - but to name a few and, more recently, the harvest festival celebrations.

Our fundraising events rely on the support of you, the people in our community – individuals and businesses alike, people hosting events and people supporting events.

The recent harvest festival was supported by the Newquay people and businesses donating goods, this was combined with various venues hosting a harvest event. Newquay RNLI and its supporters were able to raise over £1,400 in the space of a couple of weeks.

Newquay Lifeboat Day raised in excess of £4,000. – Only made possible by the continued support of our town.

The RNLI provide a volunteer lifeboat service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Each lifeboat station can put their boats to sea 24/7; Newquay RNLI lifeboats always have at least 10 volunteers on standby just in case you need them – including Christmas Day.

Just by supporting Newquay RNLI you have helped someone who got into difficulties. You have helped to ensure there was someone there to help them.

Please continue to support us. You will be ensuring that the RNLI maintains their nationwide fantastic volunteer lifeboats and expands their Beach lifeguard service

Once again, THANK YOU to all and everyone, we need you. We appreciate your support.
