Newquay RNLI assists fishing boat.

Newquay’s RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew launched on Friday 20th May 2011 to assist a disabled fishing boat off Holywell.
Falmouth coastguards received a request for assistance from the skipper of Three Jays fishing boat. Her propeller had become fouled by rope and they were unable to make way.
Newquay’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Valerie Wilson launched at 15:45 hrs with Matt Robins at the helm. Arriving on scene they were unable to clear the rope from the propeller so took the casualty in tow back to Newquay harbour.
